RIPLEY'S AQUARIUM, CANADA




The new Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is going to become one of the most extraordinary destinations for the millions of visitors to the great city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada will be a 12,500 square-metre (135,000 square-feet) world-class family attraction with more than 5.7 million litres (1.5 million gallons) of water depicting marine and freshwater habitats from around the world.

From the majestic Kelp forests of Canada’s Pacific Northwest to the spectacular colour and abundant life of a Tropical Indo-Pacific reef, to the frigid Baffin Sea to the flooding waters of the Amazon, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada will truly cover all waters of the world. More than 13,500 underwater creatures from around the globe will be on display.  Exhibits will include Tropical Reefs, Atlantic and Pacific Ocean Habitats, Jellyfish, Seahorses, Stingrays, and Great Lakes exhibits and much more. The aquarium is designed to be fully interactive.  Each gallery will put you face to face with some of the most remarkable creatures on the planet. Just one of the many highlights of Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada will be a unique 96 metre (315 foot) long moving walkway through an acrylic tunnel deep below the 2.84 million litre (750,000 gallon) Shark Lagoon.  Here you will experience the awesome power of our predatory shark collection including 3 to 3.7 metre (10 to 12 feet) long sand tiger sharks, largetooth sawfish and dozens of other species.
