As
you think of the places to go to for your extreme weather expedition, find time
to visit the Emperor Penguins in Antarctica. Many tourists often visit this
magnificent animal since they freely roam in this continent. It is much more
fascinating to see them in their natural habitat instead of seeing them locked
up in aquariums and zoos in your local area.
The Emperor
Penguin is the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species and is endemic
to Antarctica. The male and female are similar in plumage and size, reaching
122 cm (48 in) in height and weighing anywhere from 22 to 45 kg (49
to 99 lb). The dorsal side and head are black and sharply delineated from the
white belly, pale-yellow breast and bright-yellow ear patches. Like all
penguins it is flightless, with a streamlined body, and wings stiffened and
flattened into flippers for a marine habitat.
A Pair of Penguins |
This
kind of pairs of Emperor penguins are can see at Snow Hill Island which located
in Antarctica.
Tourist at Snow Hill Island
In my
opinion, Emperor Penguin (Snow Hill Island) is one of the most attractive destinations
for tourist from many countries.
